About Us

Ashley N. Moore
Ashley Moore is a dedicated end-of-life doula and advocate, committed to providing compassionate, holistic support to individuals and families navigating life’s final transitions. As a board member of the Virginia End-of-Life Doula Collective, Ashley plays an active role in community education, helping to normalize conversations around death and dying. Through Guiding Sol Doula Service, she offers free community events throughout the year, ensuring accessible end-of-life support for all.
In addition to direct client care, Ashley is a published contributor to the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), reflecting a deep engagement with interdisciplinary perspectives on end-of-life care. Her work bridges the gap between medical, emotional, and practical support, ensuring individuals and families receive comprehensive, dignified guidance.
Ashley is honored to share insights at How Do You Doula?, showcasing the diverse and essential role of end-of-life doulas in supporting individuals, families, and communities.

Rosa Horsley
B. Rosa Dominguez Horsley is a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background in elder care and end-of-life support. She received her Associate's Degree in Arts and Science with a Major in Education in 2002, graduating with cum laude honors. In 2009, Horsley obtained her License in Practical Nursing, marking the beginning of her career in healthcare.
With a focus on elder care and living, Horsley has continually expanded her expertise. In 2021, she became a Certified Dementia Practitioner, enhancing her ability to provide specialized care for individuals with cognitive impairments. Further broadening her skill set, Horsley obtained a Death Doula certificate in 2022, allowing her to offer comprehensive end-of-life support.
Horsley's commitment to public service is evident in her Virginia State Commission as a Notary Public. This certification enables her to assist clients with important legal documents, adding another layer of support to her professional offerings.
With over a decade of experience as a licensed practical nurse and her specialized training in dementia care and end-of-life support, B. Rosa Dominguez Horsley continues to make a significant impact in her community. Her multifaceted approach to elder care and death doula services reflects her deep commitment to compassionate, comprehensive support for individuals and families navigating life's most challenging transitions.
