Memorial Planning — $250
Give your loved ones a written guide to your wishes.
We talk through your preferences for flowers, readings or scripture, the order of the service, and any gathering afterward. An obituary and eulogy are included when appropriate.
You receive a personalized planning booklet to share with your funeral home and the person responsible for carrying out your wishes.
This service documents your preferences. Attendance, officiating, purchases, and carrying out the arrangements are not included.
Ceremony Writing — $250
For families who want to lead the ceremony themselves, we meet with you to learn about the person’s life, stories, beliefs, and wishes.
We then write a personalized ceremony for your family or chosen speaker to deliver. Our attendance and officiating are not included.
Ceremony Writing & Officiating — Starting at $500
If you would like us to lead the service, this option includes:
-
A meeting with your family.
-
A personalized written ceremony.
-
Our attendance to lead the ceremony.
The ceremony can include readings, scripture, memories, and personal traditions that reflect the person being honored. Additional requests are discussed and quoted before booking.
Living Funeral Planning & Coordination — Starting at $1,000
A living funeral is a gathering held while the person being celebrated is still alive. It offers an opportunity to hear memories, share appreciation, and spend meaningful time together.
We help coordinate the venue, food, and basic event details around the person’s wishes.
The starting price covers our planning and coordination work. Venue rental, food, flowers, and other event expenses are paid separately.
Ceremony writing and officiating are available for an additional fee. We agree on the services and total professional fee before booking.
Legacy & Remembrance
Legacy projects offer a way to preserve stories, messages, and memories. You might want help creating letters for loved ones, gathering meaningful photographs, or recording memories in writing.
Tell us what you have in mind. We’ll discuss what we can help with and provide a quote before work begins. Legacy projects are priced separately from the services above.
What to Expect
1. Tell us what matters to you.
We begin with a conversation about your wishes, your family, and the support you need. There is no charge for this initial conversation.
2. Choose your support.
We explain the options and agree on what’s included, the timing, and the cost before paid work begins.
3. Create something personal.
We work with you to document wishes, prepare a ceremony, or plan a gathering that reflects the person’s life and preferences.
Where We Work
We serve Lynchburg and surrounding counties. Planning conversations can also take place through Zoom.
Our Role
We help document personal wishes, preserve memories, and write or lead ceremonies.
We are not funeral directors and do not provide funeral home services.
Funeral arrangements remain with your chosen funeral provider and the person responsible for making them.
